Simantov are proud to support ORT Professional Women’s Network in London with their agenda to ‘Break The Glass Ceiling’. The initiative to educate, encourage and connect intelligent, smart and successful Jewish women in business in the UK will be hosted in central London as an evening with Michelle Mendelesson from Credit Suisse. Michelle plans to share her trials and tribulations of building a successful career whilst ‘breaking the glass ceiling’ and juggling both her personal and professional life. Who says that women can’t have it all?
Michelle Mendelsson is the EMEA Co-Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Credit Suisse. She is one half of a job share partnership and works three days a week. Her remit covers the full spectrum of diversity including: Gender, Ethnicity, Sexual Orientations, Working Parents, Disability and Age. She is responsible for strategy development, education, networks, events, new legislation, internal and external communication and benchmarking. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2000, Michelle worked for Marks and Spencer for 15 years in a variety of commercial positions. Michelle lives in North London and has two daughters aged 11 & 9.
Promising a fantastic evening with a welcoming reception of drinks and canapés from 6.30pm til 8.30pm on July 6th 2016, attendees can expect lots of sharing and storytelling and all ladies present will be certain to leave with new learnings, new connects, a greater support network and hopefully fresh insights to move forward in both their personal and professional lives.
