Whether you’re looking for that little spark of romance to capture your imagination or you’re new to town and want to meet new people and see what happens, check out our recommendations below.
Jewish Miami Beach Tour
This tour provides a fascinating insight into Jewish life in Miami Beach stretching back over a century. It’s popular with people of all ages and brings to life some incredible stories and characters from over the years.
It’s a great opportunity to meet other local Jewish people in relaxed and informal surroundings, whilst enjoying the fresh air.
The Rok Family Shul
This venue is a downtown Jewish center which often has networking events on for local professionals such as beer and burger nights and cocktail hours. Whether you’re in Miami for the short or long-term you’re sure to make some great personal and business connections at these events.
Miami Jewish Film Festival
This event may only take place once a year in January but it attracts a broad range of people of all ages from Miami and the wider area. The festival goes from strength to strength every year and taking your date to see a movie or mixing with other cinema-goers after a screening are great ways to embrace your culture and broaden your horizons.
Ball and Chain
The Ball and Chain is steeped in history and in its heyday played host to legends of jazz including Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong ad Chet Baker. Before becoming a Cuban neighborhood, Little Havana as it’s now known was a predominantly Jewish part of town.
While it tips its hat firmly to the Cuban theme with its cocktails and cuisine, Ball and Chain played a big part in Miami’s Jewish history and culture for many years and is definitely worth a visit to sip on a cocktail or two and enjoy the live music.
Miami enjoys strong Jewish roots and traditions, so when you’re looking to find romance, it’s a great place to be.
