With the celebration of Purim just around the corner, many Jews are getting busy preparing costumes and goodies to give away, and looking forward to going a little bit crazy in cute and loud ways.
Purim is a fun time, a time when we are all instructed to eat, drink and be merry. So why not take advantage of it to get in touch with our « inner child » and forget the worries of adult life for a weekend?
The weekend of the 14th of March, Simantov will be celebrating Purim with Young Leadership at the Espace Hillel in Lyon. It is going to be a fun-filled time, with activities ranging from the reading of the Megillah, to a costume party, a tour of Lyon -a gorgeous city, for those of you who don’t know it!- and a lot more.
If you are between 25 and 40 years old and looking to have a good time, come and join us. Not only will you have a fabulous experience, meeting new people and discovering new places, but, if you are single, you may also be able to kill two birds with one stone and embark on a new personal journey. What better time to meet your Schadchan than a holiday when we celebrate the accomplishment of a woman and what a man -a King, no less- did out of love for her?
