The Best Conversation Starters
You never get a second chance to make a first impression, so make sure you make the right one- and say the right thing!
1) Only initiate conversations with those you’re actually interested in. People can tell when you send a general multi-person message. Be selective and find the person you want to talk with.
2) Use their profile, photos or stories to draw inspiration. This shows that you have a genuine interest in them, and tailors the conversation to what they might like to discuss.
3) STOP using ‘hey’ or ‘hi’. Show that you are a well-educated, successful and interesting person. A single-word message will not stand out against the many others that person might receive, and it shows laziness and a lack of imagination!
